In episode 40 of Shock Waves, join your hosts Rob Galluzzo, Elric Kane, Rebekah McKendry and Ryan Turek as they catch up on all the latest horrors! First up, the gang discuss the sudden rise in horror themed board games! Ryan reports back on A CURE FOR WELLNESS, the new POPCORN Blu-Ray and DEMON KNIGHT. Rob discovered the Argentinian anthology WILD TALES, and revisted Anthony Perkins in PRETTY POISON. Elric had poetry in his eyes for Joe Spinell in THE LAST HORROR FILM, SHREW'S NEST and DON'T KNOCK TWICE. Bekah talks about LEMORA and SHOCK TO THE SYSTEM. TV wise, we bring up BATES MOTEL, LEGION and RIVERDALE.

Then we welcome to the show very special guest David F. Sandberg, the director of LIGHTS OUT and the upcoming ANNABELLE 2! We get into his early days as a horror fan, making horror shorts in Sweden with his wife, and the amazing story of how LIGHTS OUT became a major feature film. We get into the development of turning the short into a full length story, the test screening process, the controversial ending, and more! We also discuss the importance of consistently making horror shorts, what works best and which are the most effective ones. Kick back, relax, and join the conversation!
